K, I went to this fireside and Bro. Harrison? spoke on uplifting music and it was good.

The parking lot was almost totally full cuz I guess the choir is getting their Christmas songs ready, so’s I had to park in the back of the building. The church has a one-way street back around the back (a little unusual).

I liked Bro. Harrison’s talk and the way he found his wife was kinda interesting because he prayed hard and then went to Utah State University in Logan. He took a Choir class and on the first day he stared intently in each of the ladies faces and felt impressed that he should marry one of them. Then he met her going into the building the next class and the rest is, shall we say, history.

He also said he has a t-shirt with Pres. Monson’s very cool quote:

“The future is as bright as your faith.” from this talk

Also Bro Harrison said that he “was smart enough not to tell her that” (about not telling her that he felt he received inspiration that he should marry her) so’s don’t get any ideas that that is a good idea to tell women, k?

Mental note: I need to pray harder and practice my intense staring more.

Someone in the multi-stake singles leadership is trying to lose weight cuz there was mainly just tons o’ ranch dressing and veggies for refreshments – sorry but I NEED at least one macadamia nut cookie from Costco per each fireside I go to. I did get a graham cookie windmill shaped kind o’ thing that was kinda good though.
